Welcome

Little Friends, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving children and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Based in Naperville, Illinois, Little Friends operates 14 programs including early intervention, alternative schools, family support, vocational training, and community-based residential services.

Little Friends was founded in 1965 and now serves more than 800 people each year from throughout DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Will and western Cook counties in Illinois.

» Kick Off the Holiday Season by Attending the Friends of Little Friends Electric Parade on Nov. 28
  Jump start your holiday season by joining Little Friends, Inc. and a host of community organizations at this year’s Friends of Little Friends Electric Parade on Friday, November 28. Now in its seventh year, the Electric Parade will kick off at 4:30 p.m. from Centennial Beach in downtown Naperville.


» Purchase Your Very Own Jack Frost Bear Beginning November 19
 

As part of the Hometown Holidays celebration in downtown Naperville, Little Friends, Inc. will once again be selling a limited edition Hometown Holidays Bear. Jack Frost Bears will be available for $10 at a number of downtown Naperville locations beginning on Wednesday, November 19. Proceeds from Jack Frost Bear sales will benefit children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities served by the Naperville-based agency.



» Little Friends to Close Parent-Infant Program on January 16
  Little Friends, Inc. announced today that it will close its Parent-Infant Program (PIP) on January 16, 2009.


» Festive Holiday Cards On Sale Now
 

The Children’s Center for Autism will once again be selling festive cards and gift tags this holiday season. Each item features original artwork from one of the Center’s four clients. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the clients at Sage House.



» Binny’s Champagne Tasting Set for December 6
  Join us for a festive afternoon at our annual Binny’s Champagne Tasting from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, at Binny's Beverage Depot. Tickets are $50 per person, payable at the door. To purchase tickets, please contact Binny’s at (630) 717-0100.


» Support Little Friends by Purchasing a Christopher Radko Autism Awareness Ornament
  Shoppers who frequent The Canterbury Shoppe this holiday season can help raise funds for Little Friends, Inc. by purchasing a festive and colorful Christopher Radko collectible. The downtown Naperville gift shop will donate $20 to Little Friends, Inc. from each “Completely Charming” autism awareness ornament purchased throughout this holiday season. 


» Little Friends to Host First Annual Autism Awareness Walk on June 28
  Little Friends, Inc. will host its first annual Step Up for Autism 5K walk/run on Sunday, June 28, 2009 along the Riverwalk in downtown Naperville. Designed to raise awareness about autism, a complex developmental disability that affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans, the Step Up for Autism walk is the first of its kind to be held in Naperville. Funds raised from the inaugural event will benefit children and adults with autism served by Little Friends, Inc. and the Little Friends Center for Autism.
